Here’s how your AVA plan works: we’ll be checking in with you regularly by text based on your questions and meal photos. We’ll send helpful tips, ask questions about how you’re feeling and track your progress along the way. Of course, we’re always available to answer questions, so don’t be shy -- just ask away! That’s what we’re here for.
Keeping your food journal up to date is going to be an important part of sticking to your plan, spotting trends and opportunities to develop healthier habits. For your program, we recommend reporting in 3-5 times a day.

We'll be checking in with you weekly to track your weight. Of course, you’re welcome to monitor your weight more frequently if you’d like, but it’s definitely not necessary. While checking daily weights can sometimes be informative, it can also be frustrating, because there are many day-to-day shifts in fluid and other factors for slight ups-and-downs that don’t accurately reflect your body fat, lean mass and true weight loss.
A few tips for weighing-in:
There are other ways of measuring your weight loss progress beyond the number on the scale, such as energy level, clothes feeling looser, less aches & pains.
We will be checking in with you about these changes, but anytime you notice a shift in these areas or others, please share - we can track each win and change.
